3 vs. 1
What a match! What we all though it would be a one-way traffic turned out to be a very tough encounter for Lazio, perhaps the toughest one since the new year. Catania had some bad results lately and Lazio was in a terrific form so we expected an easy win.
But it [...]

Ok, it is a midweek match and it is played afternoon. This is indeed a very rary occurance in the Italian football, but due to security reasons I guess, the Italian FA decided to play most of the matches at 3PM.
As far as the formations are concerned, I doubt Delio Rossi will make any changes [...]

This is an article from tribalfootball.com

Here comes our first win at Olimpico since the legendary Derby thrashing of rioma. I must credit Lazio players for a fantastic performance, which never cast a doubt on who will get the points our of this important match for both teams.
Without injured Peruzzi, Behrami, Mudingayi and Makinwa, Rossi fielded a more offensive team playing [...]

It has now been confirmed that Serie A actions will resume this weekend. However, the bans on stadia will kick in as predicted, and that will see only four games being played in front of the public.
A quick wrap up of the final decision is as follows:
(A) Serie A action to resume on Saturday,
(B) [...]

A post I though I would never post:
The Serie A and B Championships have been suspended after the death of a policeman in the Catania riots.
FIGC President Luca Pancalli made the announcement this evening. “We will immediately set up a permanent round table commission to discuss the situation between sport and politics. It’s not possible to [...]
